Sinisterra of Leeds United has been hailed for his brace in Colombia's comeback victory.
Leeds United winger Luis Sinisterra has been praised after scoring a brace off the bench to help Colombia beat Mexico 3-2.
Sinisterra came on at halftime with Colombia trailing 2-0, but he scored twice in quick succession to tie the game.
With a bullet header from a Juan Cuadrado corner, the 23-year-old scored his first goal of the night just four minutes after coming on.
He added a second three minutes later, sweeping in a Jorge Carrascal cutback from inside the box.
Sinisterra has now scored in each of his last four club and country matches, dating back to his equaliser against Everton on his entire Premier League debut.
The former 'Feyenoord winger' also scored in the Whites' 5-2 defeat at Brentford before scoring his first international goal against Guatemala last weekend.
After his impactful performance against Mexico, experienced colleague Cuadrado praised Sinisterra on Instagram, calling him a 'Animal.'
The game was also held at Levi Stadium, the home of the NFL franchise San Francisco 49ers, who own 44% stakes of Leeds.
The 49ers definitely could not pass up the chance to see one of Leeds' key players in action and were eager to show their support for Sinisterra on Twitter.
They wrote: “Have a night, @Sinisterra29! @LUFC ’s own scored twice in tonight’s international friendly at @LevisStadium.”
