Ezekiel Elliott, or  Ezekiel Elijah Elliott (nicknamed “Zeke”) is a free-agency American football running back. He attended Ohio State University.

Elliott was selected fourth overall in the 2016 NFL Draft by the Dallas Cowboys.

Ezekiel Elliott was born in the United States on July 22, 1995, in St. Louis, Missouri.

His father, former Missouri football linebacker Stacy Elliott, comes from an athletic family.

His mother has won three state high school championships. His maternal grandfather was a Drake University basketball player.

As a junior, he carried for 1,802 yards and scored 34 touchdowns. He also had 23 receptions for 401 yards and six touchdowns.

He also had 16 receptions for 383 yards and 2,155 rushing yards and 40 rushing scores.

He was ranked ninth in the country as a running back in the 2013 US Army All-American Bowl.

Elliott earned four state championships as a senior in the 100-meter, 200-meter, 110-high hurdles as well as 300-meter hurdles in his football achievements.

Elliott was offered multiple Division I scholarships but chose to attend Ohio State University.

Elliott played three seasons for the Ohio State Buckeyes from 2013 to 2015.

He was a vital team member that won the Big Ten title and defeated Oregon in the College Football Championship in 2014.

He recorded 36 carries for 246 yards and four touchdowns in the final game, earning him offensive MVP honors.

Elliott rushed 592 times for 3,961 yards and 43 touchdowns while gaining over 4,400 yards from scrimmage.

Elliott was selected the 2015 Graham-George Offensive Player of the Year after being named First Team All-Big Ten.

He had the second-most career rushing yards (3,961) and yards per game (101.6) behind famous Ohio State running back Archie Griffin.
