Max Scherzer Career

Scherzer had an early interest in the athletic side, so many people were watching him. The Cardinals’ scouting director had already selected Max for the 2003 Major League Baseball (MLB) draught before the start of his undergraduate career.

Max trained with numerous well-known baseball figures during his early career, including Tony Vitello, Tim Jamieson, and many others. Max was named Big 12 Pitcher of the Year in 2005 during his undergraduate career.

Max had played with a number of professionals since the beginning of his collegiate career. He began his career with the Northwoods League’s La Crosse Loggers (NWL).

Arizona Diamondbacks

Max made his major league debut as the eleventh overall choice in the 2006 MLB draught with the Arizona Diamondbacks. Prior to joining the Diamondbacks, he was a member of the independent American Association’s Fort Worth Cats.
